- These are unlike regular Asics sport shoes. The shoe does not fully open
- These were extremely tight and she didn’t like the slip on nature of the shoe
- The front of these shoes is a bit pointed and pinches the toes.
- These are unlike regular Asics sport shoes. The shoe does not fully open.
- The shoe sizing is a bit awkward
- The sole of the shoe is not sturdy enough. Can easily develop holes
- They are light but extra cushioning would be great. You could easily tell there was some shock absorption during HIIT.
- The description didn’t state that the tongue of the shoe is not flexible and untying the laces does not allow for a foot that needs that expansion capability.
Conclusion
Due to the soft and bendable nature of the shoes, it is superb for walking and doing extensive trekking on sidewalks or other hard surfaces. The sole has a bendable nice feature. The size is not a good fit for you if you have a broader leg’ you might want to consider trying a half size up if you have a broader leg. This will help to solve the tight toe box issue. With that extra half size, your feet would have enough room.
If you decide to go for the actual size, consider wearing it without socks initially to give it room for expansion. After a few uses and when it must have expanded, you can put on socks. The shoe tongue is sewn into the shoe which is great. It is better to wear them with socks if you have sweaty feet so that the sweat doesn’t get soaked into them and make them to smell bad. If you have no issue with sweaty feet, it is probably okay to wear it without socks. The shoes are very comfortable to be used all day but have minimal arch support. They are great for HIIT workouts. If you have wider feet, to feel more comfortable, I’d suggest you order a half-size bigger. You definitely need arch support if you have flat feet, but the fact that it is rather form fitting, you may probably find it difficult to put an arch insert
